I have a new best friend

His name is "Reno" short for Renovator, also known as my new sander!!!

Yesterday proved to be a busy day for me:

1.   Conquered the piano (before Bryan got home) he was quite surprised and pleased and then realized I did it all by myself, not as pleased with that.
Emily had to get into the shot, she saw the camera...
Disclaimer: The orange chair is one I got for $5 and plan to reupholster when I have enough guts to, the light is from the college years and will be replace when I find some thing fabulous....the rocking chair just keeps haunting me - I have no idea where to put it or what to do with it...and remember that chair I saw at the thrift store that would have gone great with the orange chair ...still in Mankato.  Sad face.

And then I want to do some thing like this around the piano and above the the transitional area in between the living room and the dinning area...
So I do have a plan it is just in the works. Along with my green wall.  So much inspiration so little time.

2.   Planted the new Linden Tree, and saved as many worms as possible (but I am pretty sure we just dug them up for the robins who were circling us like vultures
The Man Pose
3.   Unwrapped Reno and got busy on grandpa's desk - like seriously busy on it.  It might even get primed next week along with my kitchen table that has been haunting me since last summer...

So yeah, I am a little pooped to say the least.  Butttttt... that hasn't stopped my desire to do anything I can do which lead me to sneak off to the garage and grab Reno.

Bryan, catching my sneaky eye followed me out to make sure I hadn't sneaked one of our kitchen drawers out with me... no I explained.  I was just going to bring Reno inside, much easier.  He shook his head at me.

But to my surprise, the man struck up a deal.  He said if I worked outside, he would take off the cabinet doors so I had a project all week to come home to.  He is smart and cunning.  I fell for it hard.
Sigh, my ugly cabinets.  And the blue, which was better than the blood red, but still not good.
Bryan in action, true to his word....
I am so excited.  With a new window, and the AC unit going to be taken out, I can really get going on my kitchen.  No it won't be a new kitchen, but it will be a spruced up prettier well thought out kitchen, that will lead into my cuter living room!!! Slowly but surely with the help of my handy dandy sander I am going to take down the ugliness in my house.

Wish me luck!
